The fourth meeting of MeDryDive project took place on November 25th and 26th. Due to the second wave of COVID-19, there wasn’t the possibility to travel and physically meet in the same place, so partners participated through conference call (Google Meet).

MeDryDive introduced at the University of Oxford
Mr. A. Manglis (ATL) was invited to give a lecture at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Oxford on 21st January 2020. The lecture was titled “An Innovative Approach for the Promotion of Underwater Cultural Heritage the Mediterranean Sea”, presenting to a scientific audience the good practices of BLUEMED and other EU co-funded projects, towards the sustainable operation of underwater archaeological sites.

MeDryDive project has been presented at the Workshop on Diving Tourism organised in the framework of the project “AnDiKaT: Diving routes in the Marine Protected areas of the Eastern Mediterranean – Development of a Diving Tourism Network” by the Development Agency of South Aegean Region – READ S.A.
The workshop took place in the Greek island of Rhodes on November, 28th and aimed at exchanging expertise on the promotion and networking of tourism products.

Our new project MeDryDive officially started!
The Kick-off Meeting took place at Atlantis Premises on 20th of June with the presence of our Project Adviser Mr. Alan Vella.
The project’s mission is the creation of innovative tourism product(s) related to Underwater Cultural Heritage sites in Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Montenegro, which enrich the experience of divers and non-divers. The tourism product development will integrate ICT/Creative and Cultural Industry applications (augmented reality apps/virtual reality/photos/videos/3D models/games).
